INDOMET® PENTA and INDOMET® TETRA have been specially developed for usage in diffusion pumps. Our oils are suitable for all types of diffusion pumps. They are designed for a very wide vacuum pressure range. The vapor pressure and backflow are so low, that the use of cold traps is not required for most vacuum applications. Ultra-high vacuum up to the 10E-11 mbar range can be achieved with cold traps, without cold traps up to the 10E-10 mbar range.

INDOMET® PENTA and INDOMET® TETRA are further developments of the well-known diffusion pump oils DC 702, DC 704 and DC 705.
